Quickstart

The whole path from first sign-in to a live website, in eight stages. Each stage says who does it and links to the details.

This is the same journey Studio shows under Guides → Your website journey, where Atlas ticks off the steps it can check for you. Use whichever you prefer; they stay in step.

  1. Plan the website · everyone

List the pages, repeating content (products, articles, team), forms, images and languages. Agree who drafts, who reviews and who publishes. An AI coding agent can draft the inventory from your website’s code.

  2. Set up the website in Atlas · site admin

Sign in with Continue with OrbisHub. Under Settings, set the website addresses. Under Brand, add the logo and colours; the Website helper can suggest palettes from your logo. Invite your team.

  3. Connect your coding tool · developer, optional

Under Integrations → Coding agents, create a connection and add the Atlas MCP server to your tool. The agent can read and draft, but never publish. AI agents (MCP)

  4. Describe the website · developer, site admin approves

Model page types, components, collections and the header and footer in the site contract, then review and activate it under Site setup. Site contract

  5. Connect the website · developer

Create a delivery token under Integrations → Website, add the server-side client, preview route and webhook receiver, and check that Studio shows the website In sync. Connect a Next.js website

  6. Bring the content in · editors

Fill Header & footer, upload images to the Media library, import Collections, then review each page at phone, tablet and desktop sizes and Publish to Development. Translate other languages. Preview, publish and roll back

  7. Turn visitors into enquiries and get found · editors, site admin

Publish a form and a chatbot, connect an email service under Email notifications, check titles, descriptions and redirects, and set up search and AI answers. Forms and leads · Search and AI answers

  8. Go live · site admin and approver

Make Website health green, verify your domain, build a release, approve it and turn on Production. Go live

  • Weekly: answer leads under Forms & leads → Leads, publish updates, and approve a new release.
  • Monthly: review access. Revoke coding agent connections and delivery tokens nobody uses, and check the team list.
  • Quarterly: refresh outdated content and check Performance and Design quality.
